Baby Carrots

Our baby carrots have a crispy and crunchy texture with a delicious sweet taste which is what makes them a perfect snack for everyone.

Baby carrots are excellent when served raw, as a whole or as juice.

Beet tops are an excellent source of vitamin A and the roots are a good source of vitamin C.

Look for firm, smooth skins, with crisp, bright leaves if attached.

Delicious raw or cooked, broccoli packs more nutrients than any other vegetable!

Cooked broccoli should be bright green and tender-crisp.

Our cabbage is crisp and flavourful.  Best served boiled, stir-fried or raw in coleslaw.

Cabbage should feel slgihtly heavy for their size with crisp, firmly packed leaves.

The cantaloupe is unique to other melons in both fragrance and its flesh's texture.  Our cantaloupe is juicy and sweet, picked at the perfect ripeness.

In season in the summer and fall when they are the freshest and most flavorful.

Green beans are delicious, crisp, firm, brightly-colored beans that snap easily. Thinner beans are usually more tender and sweeter.

Cook gently by steaming or simmering just until tender-crisp. Green beans have a fair amount of vitamins A and C.

Green onions are milder tasting than the large bulb variety, they are often eaten raw, but you can also grill or saute them.

New Potatoes

Sweet, thin and crisp, new potatoes are delicious and full of flavour. Available varieties are white, red and blue.

Choose new potatoes that are firm, dry and blemish-free. Unwashed potatoes last longer as the dirt protects them from bruising and general deterioration.

We grow both red and green bell peppers as well as a variety of hot peppers with different colors, shapes, flavors, and, of course, spiciness.

Do you want to add a little kick to your meal? Hot peppers are terrific way to spice up any dish.

The radish is an edible root vegetable with a crisp peppery flavour.

Our radishes have a smooth skin that are free from splits or brown patches. Remove the leaves and store in the fridge for up to one week.

Our raspberries have a wonderfully intense, sweet taste, and many consider them to be the finest flavoured of all the berries.

As raspberries are very delicate, wash them very gently, using the light pressure of the sink sprayer if possible, and then patting them dry.

Rutabaga has a creamy, yellow flesh that is crisp and peppery-sweet when raw while soft and sweet when cooked.

Although rutabaga is a classic cellar vegetable, its flavor does decrease with age so it is best purchased fresh from the farm while the root is still tender-firm, sweet and moist.

Snap Peas

Sweet and crunch, snap peas can be eaten pods and all.

Choose bright green, crisp, plump pods that feel waxy to touch.

An all-rounder, this green pairs perfectly with many dishes.  Easy to cook and incredibly versatile, spinach goes well with butter, cream and cheese and tastes delicious on its own or with pastas, quiches or stir-fries.

Swiss chard is truly one of the vegetable valedictorians with its exceptionally impressive list of health promoting nutrients.

We recommend boiling it to free up acids and allowing them to leach into the boiling water; this brings out a sweeter taste from the chard.

Our greenhouse tomatoes are grown in the ground which results in the same quality and taste as our field tomatoes.
